a globetrotter? Anything that helps them to communicate and navigate in a foreign country or stay in touch with their friends all over the world will be perfect: dictionaries, maps and beautiful stationery like these envelopes.
a mistery-monger? For someone who likes having and keeping secrets, you can never go wrong with cases, boxes or even books that can be locked up.
a sportsman? Someone who has tried about all kinds of sports could be delighted with an unusual piece of equipement, for example these mini ski.
a musician? If you want to make a present to a person who loves music, you could get them an instrument, their favourite band’s new album or a new radio.
a jinx? All kinds of things that are supposed to bring luck - cloverleaves, charms or even this lucky soap – are perfect for someone who often experiences mishaps.
a shopping addict? Anything that you can buy things with (cash, gift vouchers) or carry them home in (all kinds of bags) will be perfect for this kind of person.
a homebody? If you want to delight someone who loves their home, give them something to adorn it: beautiful accessories, for instance vases, candle holders or framed pictures.
a penny pincher? For someone tight-fisted, you can never go wrong with money boxes or purses.

To get you all in the mood for christmas – especially for making and buying little gifts for your beloved ones – I put together two collages (one with presents for girls, one with presents for boys). a baker? Someone who likes to bake could be delighted with cookie cutters or other utensils, for example a kitchen scale.
a painter? If you want to make a present to a person who’s creative and loves to paint, you could get them new color, paintbrushes or one of these wallpaper rollers – that could also be used on paper or textiles, for instance.
an orderly person? All kinds of boxes, cases or clever storage solutions will make someone happy who likes to keep things tidy.
a writer? Anything that is needed to scribble things down will be perfect for this kind of person: beautiful pens, books with blank pages, …

I’m absolutely in the mood for christmas – I can’t wait to make and buy gifts and decorate my room. One reason for this early excitement is that I got tons of new decoration-ideas at the small pre-christmas-exhibiton at Blumenland Engler we visited last Sunday. Beside the lightning, I loved the usage of natural materials – it inspired me to take a walk through the woods, collect things like moss, cones and other pretty things and make something out of them. However, there were also funny things like an advent wreath with bras on it called “Brüstung” (breastwork).
