Foxes are the new owls.
Ich liebe Eulen nach wie vor, muss aber zugeben, dass ich auch Füchse immer mehr mag. Da ich noch eine ganze Menge rostroten Filz übrig hatte, lag es nahe, einen Fuchs zu machen, als sich ein Freund eine Handpuppe zum Geburtstag wünschte (er wird Lehrer und will damit seine Schüler belustigen). Als die Puppe fertig war, war ich total begeistert und hätte sie am liebsten behalten. Aber dann man ja bekanntlich nur das verschenken soll, was man auch selber gern hätte, ließ ich sie gehen – und das Geburtstagskind war sehr erfreut!
I still love owls, but I have to admit that I also like foxes more and more. Since I still had a big rest of rust-red felt, I decided to make a fox when a friend of mine asked for a hand puppet for his birthday (he’s going to be a teacher and wants to use it to amuse his pupils). When the puppet was finished, I was thrilled and I would have loved to keep it. But since you should always give things you would like to have for yourself, I let go – and the birthday boy was delighted!

der fuchs ist sehr süß geworden!
mit deiner meinung zu füchsen und eulen stehst du nicht alleine da.
